Richardson Scholars Exemplify Foundation's Motto - "To Learn, To Lead, To Serve"

Jacob Hultman, a graduate of Vero Beach High School who is studying physics and economics at the University of Florida.
A National Merit Finalist and AP Scholar, Jacob was active in academic competitions, as well as co-captain of the varsity soccer team. He was the Quiz Bowl team co-captain, the Debate Club VP, and won multiple honors for the math team. His counselor says he's the epitome of the All American student as it relates to academic, athletics and extracurricular activities."
Jeffrey Lamothe, a graduate of Vero Beach High School, who will major in chemical engineering at the University of Florida.
A National Merit Semifinalist, AP Scholar, Youth on a Mission mentor, and math team member, Jeffrey is a highly talented musician who is captain and principal violinist in Vero's Orchestra as well as 1st bass drum in the marching band. He is a natural leader who molded his Orchestra peers into an award winning team. "He has a wonderful attitude," says the Youth on a Mission director. "His charisma attracts people to do whatever he does, and he shares his joy with them in the process.

Jaffe Scholars Make their Mark
Brianna Graff, a graduate of Sebastian River who is majoring in Health Sciences at Boston University.
An AP Scholar and IB Diploma candidate, Brianna was active in the yearbook, student council , debate team, and math teams. She joined the tennis team her freshman year "without a lick of athletic skill" and rose to captain the team inspiring in her teammates a love of the sport and devotion to practice. She solidified her dream to become a doctor while volunteering at IRMC, where she earned her 200-hour pin.
Courtney Henf, a graduate of Sebastian River who is studying bio-medical engineering at the University of Florida.
IB Diploma candidate and "jack of all trades" Courtney held leadership roles in the Interact Club, Dancers Against Cancer and It's in the Bag, which provides weekend food for elementary school students. She has a lot of energy and enthusiasm," says a teacher. "I suspect she will make a difference in any endeavor she chooses to pursue." After college, she wants to earn her doctorate of orthodontics and open her own practice.
Gabriela Ordonez, a graduate of St. Edward's School who will study bio-medical engineering at Duke University.
AP Scholar with Distinction and class Salutatorian, Gabriela was a two-time captain of the girls' Varsity soccer team and VP of the Science National Honor Society. She logged hundreds of hours as a peer tutor in math, office assistant for a local cardiologist, and an IRMC volunteer. She is an accomplished pianist and flautist. "She is self-disciplined, motivated and has an impressive work ethic," says a teacher. She has an innate desire to learn about the world from multiple perspectives."
